How some Employers are Going Green Check out how these employers are helping their employees and tenants:  Printpack, a large packaging products company, pays for their employees' first month of vanpool fees.  CB Richard Ellis, property manager for The Towers at Wildwood and Wildwood Center, provides Zipcar on property and a free bike share for tenants. How Much Money Do You Spend on Fuel Each Month? How would you like to save more money each month? Commuter Club recently conducted a study of our Paulding County vanpools to see how much money riding in a vanpool can save you in one month, in fuel alone. Each vanpool participant saved an average of $188.* Each vanpool saved an average of $2,057. All Paulding County vanpools combined saved a total of $34,972 - in just one month. Add in maintenance, insurance and other commuting costs and think how much money you can save by vanpooling!
* The average daily round trip commuting mileage for vanpoolers coming from Paulding County is 67 miles. On average, about eleven people ride on each vanpool (and each van eliminates 10 Single Occupancy Vehicles from the road daily). Figures based on Nissan Maxima, avg. 24.6 MPG, avg. July fuel price of $4.00 per gallon.
