Happy St. Patrick's Day, Cumberland! 

St. Patrick's Day has become widely associated with the color green.  As a community of commuters who believe in being green and saving green, it seems like the perfect holiday to celebrate together.  And, in the tradition of green, Commuter Club will be out at one of Cumberland's greenest spots, the Bob Callan Trail.  Join us on March 17th from 11-1pm at the Trailhead on Interstate North Parkway.  We will be discussing clean commuting options and trail accessibility.  If weather permits, we can all take advantage of walking the trails.

Whether you just want to stop by and say "hello" or want to enjoy your lunch break taking a walk, we'll be out there handing out goodies for everyone to enjoy!*

Property Spotlight of the Month

CB Richard Ellis is our spotlight property of the month because of their commitment to programs that support sustainable practices through transportation.  Managing the Towers at Wildwood, Wildwood Center and Platinum Towers, CB Richard Ellis makes it easy for their tenants to choose clean commuting options. 

At Commuter Club, we often hear people say that they cannot carpool or vanpool to work because they need an option during the day to get to meetings or lunch-time errands.  Well, CB Richard Ellis offers alternatives for those employees. 

One of the amenities offered to tenants is Zipcar.   This is an on-site program that makes available a Honda Civic Hybrid for use by the hour.  In order to find out how to become a member of this program, click here. 

Also available for use are on-site bikes through a bike share program.  Tenants are able to check out the bikes at the Towers lobby security desk between 9am and 5pm.  This is not only a great way to get across town on a beautiful spring day, but also a healthy option for going to pick up lunch or run errands.  

One of the most popular programs among CB Richard Ellis tenants is their shuttle service.  The shuttle provides free transportation to nearby restaurants from all three properties.  Operating Monday through Friday, 11:15am - 3:15pm, the shuttle really makes running errands and going out to lunch easy for commuters who carpool, vanpool, or use any alternative method for getting to work.
