iVanpool Contest
Attention vanpool participants - Log and win, it's that simple. Commuter Club will be giving away one iPod shuffle to a lucky vanpool participant each month. (This is in additional to the $25 VISA gift cards that are given to clean commute loggers on a monthly basis).
To be eligible for the iPod shuffle, simply register here and log your vanpool trips. The more trips you log, the better your chances, so remember to log all of your vanpool trips. Logs can be submitted on a daily or weekly basis, whichever is most convenient for you.
The recipient of the iPod shuffle will be announced in the monthly e-newsletter. *Limit one iPod shuffle per person. In the event of a tie, the previous month's logs will be reviewed. Please contact Lisa Hustrulid for additional information.

RideSmart is making commuting options an even smarter choice by offering the Guaranteed Ride Home Program - The GRH Program provides commuters who carpool, vanpool, bike, or use transit with a reliable ride home if an unexpected event occurs.

New Year, New Commute
Great job to all who participated in the New Year, New Commute Campaign! This campaign kicked off last month and encouraged commuters in the Cumberland Galleria area to leave their single occupancy vehicles at home and try a alternative commute mode to work.
 We had great participation from local companies, such as BlueLinx Corporation, WellStar Health Systems, Citi Cards and Manhattan Associates. Many participants chose a new commute mode for 2009. Commuter Club will be distributing prizes to all participants in the next few weeks. Rremember to keep logging your commute!

Zipcar is now avaiable in the Cumberland Area
Zipcar is a car sharing service that provides you with a car, free gas and insurance. So, if you take transit, carpool or vanpool and do not have access to a vehicle during the day, you can take advantage of Zipcar services by reserving a vehicle to get you to where you need to go.
Sign up for a Zipcar membership at www.zipcar.com . Membership allows you to reserve a time that you need a car, so you can run errands, go to an appointment or meeting, or even go to lunch!
